As part of awareness raising and capacity building for development and implementation of the National REDD+ Strategy a series of trainings will be conducted by the REDD+ National Program. These trainings will provide skills and knowledge in REDD+ and the role of forests in climate change in Mongolia. Trainees consist of 200 stakeholders from national and Aimag level institutions. The training will use a curriculum developed by UN-REDD and trainers from University of Science and Technology. This training is important for enabling engagement in development of policies and measures at local level and provision of input to the REDD+ National Strategy.
